We cover the full spectrum of engineering services from preliminary studies, condition assessments, and recommendations to preliminary and detailed design and through to construction management services.
Our services are broken out into our four main disciplines: Transportation, Water Resources, Construction Management, and Surveying.
Dynotec was founded in 1990 with a focus on bridge and roadway design to the Ohio DOT and other municipal clients. While our offerings have expanded, we continue to be leaders in transportation design and innovation, specializing in Bridge and Roadway Design, Traffic Engineering and Design, Lighting Design, and Pedestrian and Bikeway Amenities. We currently hold numerous pre-qualifications with Ohio and other state DOT's. Additionally, our deep and talented transportation staff features numerous engineers, inspectors, and technicians that offer 25 to 40 years of experience on municipal and state DOT projects.
Our water/wastewater division is highly sought after because of our vast expertise, as well as our track record for creative problem-solving and innovation in design. From rehabilitations and replacements to renovations and new designs, we are supremely adept at infrastructure issues related to waterlines, small- and large-diameter sewers, tunnels, reservoirs, pump stations, water plants, wastewater treatment plants, stormwater regulations, Green Infrastructure (GI), Inflow and Infiltration Control (I&I), and underground utility design.
The biggest growth segment within Dynotec has been our CM division. The reason? Simple ... it’s our people. Time and again, our construction managers and inspectors are lauded for their professionalism, experience, and expertise, as well as their insightful and thorough approach in documentation, bid services, scoping, and other administrative and reporting functions. National firms and public agencies – including municipal water/sewer departments and state DOT's – consistently rely on Dynotec's CM division for large-scale projects. Importantly, our inspectors boast certifications and training including paving, concrete, nuclear density, NASSCO-PACP, Work and Asset Management (WAM), O&M Ready practices, and NICET.
While many firms are scaling back or subcontracting their survey work; Dynotec is committed to its full-scale, multi-functional Survey Department. Our services encompass Boundaries, Topography, Utility Locations, Controls, Mapping/GIS, and Right of Way. Our crews employ the most modern equipment and vehicles including Total Stations, Data Collectors, and GPS equipment with modern software, as well as iPads with GIS/GPS and “real-time” capability.
