Columbus, OH
Dynotec was selected to provide preliminary design, detailed design, and construction services for the Morrison Road Booster Station improvements.
During Phase 1 – Preliminary Design, Dynotec conducted extensive field investigations and site visits to support building code compliance analysis, structural evaluation, propagation studies, and venturi meter vault abandonment. These activities provided critical information to inform the booster station’s design and operational requirements.

Following Phase 1, Phase 2 – Detailed Design included project coordination meetings, design review sessions, and detailed survey work to establish accurate site conditions and align improvements with existing water infrastructure. Dynotec prepared detailed design documents, regulatory submittals, construction cost estimates, and bid documents, as well as supported bidding and ensured compliance with all construction contract requirements.

Phase 3 – Construction Services involved periodic site visits, document review, coordination meetings, and preparation of as-built record drawings, ensuring that all improvements were properly executed and documented according to design intent and operational requirements.

The Result: Dynotec’s phased approach allowed the City to make informed decisions based on accurate site data and engineering analyses. The preliminary design and detailed survey work established a solid foundation for design and construction, reducing potential delays and ensuring regulatory compliance. Construction oversight and record documentation ensured that the booster station improvements were implemented efficiently, providing reliable and resilient water supply capabilities for the community.
