Dynotec served as a subconsultant to M.A.N. Mapping to establish aerial mapping control for two projects in Southern Perry County, Ohio.

The first project focused on the Tecumseh Theater in Historic Downtown Shawnee, and the second on the Buckeye Trail in New Straitsville. Dynotec’s scope included establishing precise control coordinates and elevations to support aerial mapping and subsequent design activities. The team conducted a series of Static GPS observations, carefully referencing all data to provided benchmarks. Collected field data were processed, verified, and validated for accuracy to ensure high-quality mapping control for both projects.

This work built on Dynotec’s prior experience surveying under the ODNR-DMRM-AML Task Order Contract, allowing the team to efficiently integrate historical data with new field observations. The Tecumseh Theater and Buckeye Trail projects each had survey budgets of $8,000, reflecting the detailed precision and field effort required to support accurate aerial mapping.

The Result: Dynotec successfully established highly accurate aerial mapping control for both Southern Perry County projects. By providing reliable coordinates and elevations tied to verified benchmarks, the team enabled M.A.N. Mapping to produce precise aerial maps for planning, design, and historic preservation efforts. The projects enhanced the quality of geospatial data available for both urban and recreational corridor development, supporting long-term infrastructure and trail planning.
